癌症是导致人类死亡的主要原因之一,2022年全球和中国分别约有1000万人和320万人死于癌症。尽管在过去几十年中已经进行了大量研究,但人们对癌症生物学的许多基本问题仍然知之甚少,包括从恶性肿瘤前期到肿瘤的转变、克隆进化和可塑性、肿瘤内异质性、肿瘤与基质的相互作用、转移机制、治疗耐药性和免疫微环等。因此,对癌症特性的全面分析和解释不仅需要精确的研究,还需要全球范围内的共同努力。
