Biological research based on large-scale multi-omics population cohorts

摘要：

Large population cohorts are the cornerstone of population-based biomedical studies. The countries including the UK, the US and Japan have invested a lot of resources on building large population cohorts and generated a lot of impactful outputs. In addition to the national efforts, the big pharma companies are highly involved in the cohort establishment, data collection and data analysis. These efforts have already been very fruitful. This talk will show how to use the data from large-scale multi-omics population cohorts to illuminate new insights into biology mechanisms and identify potential drug targets by introducing his recent work.
