2025 CIMR International Medical Summit

——Breakthroughs in Medical Research and Innovation

Organized by: Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR), Beijing

Date: Oct. 13-15, 2025

Registration Deadline: Sep. 30, 2025

Venue: Jingfeng Hotel, Beijing, China

The CIMR International Medical Summit (IMS) is a premier global forum uniting leading scientists, clinicians, and industry pioneers to advance the frontiers of medical science. Hosted by CIMR, the 2025 summit will spotlight transformative discoveries—from fundamental research to clinical translation—fostering collaboration and accelerating real-world medical innovation.

Under the theme "Breakthroughs in Medical Research and Innovation", this year’s summit will highlight pioneering work across the following key areas:

1. Replication Stress and DNA Damage Response: This session explores replication stress and the sophisticated DNA damage response (DDR) mechanisms that cells employ to counteract these threats, and how their failure is linked to diseases like cancer, making them promising therapeutic targets.

2. DNA Damage Response and Cancer Therapy: This session explores how cancers exploit DDR pathways for survival, with a focus on therapeutic strategies that target these vulnerabilities such as synthetic lethality (e.g., PARP inhibitors). The discussion will cover translating basic DDR research into precision medicine for more effective and targeted cancer treatments.

3. Immune Regulation in Health & Disease: This session explores advances in immune modulation, from noncoding RNAs that fine-tune autoimmune responses to innovative cancer immunotherapies. Key topics include next-generation mRNA vaccines with localized cytokine adjuvants, tumor-induced immune evasion mechanisms, and metabolic control of T cell function via ferroptosis. The discussion bridges fundamental discoveries with clinical translation, offering new strategies for autoimmune diseases and cancer immunotherapy.

4. Cell & Gene Therapy Innovations: CRISPR technologies, viral vectors, and engineered cell therapies for genetic and degenerative diseases

5. Artificial Intelligence & Digital Medicine: Intelligent data interpretation, predictive modeling for disease, and integrative systems for precision diagnostics and therapeutics

Program:

Oct. 13, Arrival & On-site Registration;

Oct. 14-15, Plenary Sessions
