Medical Mass Spectrometry Core
Medical Mass Spectrometry Core
The Medical Mass Spectrometry Core (MMSC) is an integral component of the core facilities at the Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR). It is located on lower first floor, South Tower, Basic Research Building, Capital Medical University. MMSC is currently staffed by four professional technicians and will be equipped with advanced high-resolution and high-sensitivity mass spectrometers. MMSF is dedicated to providing users with services based on mass spectrometry. The services offered by MMSC include protein identification, quantitative proteomics, interactome analysis, phosphoproteome analysis, acetylome analysis, ubiquitinome analysis, oxidative modification analysis, metabolomics, lipidomics, and metabolic flux analysis. MMSC provides comprehensive services that span from sample preparation to data acquisition and data interpretation. Following a user-centric approach, MMSC actively collaborates with users to develop new mass spectrometry methods tailored to individualized requirements.

High-Throughput Screening Core
High-Throughput Screening Core
The High-Throughput Screening Core (HTSC) is a technical assistance platform of the Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR), situated on the underground floor of the South Building of the Basic Research Building, Capital Medical University. The platform will establish various types of compound libraries, including FDA-approved or clinical compounds libraries, known active libraries, structurally diverse libraries, natural product libraries, and disease/target related libraries. Additionally, HTSC will be equipped with advanced fully automated high-throughput screening equipment to support the development and optimization of multiple biochemical or cell-based screening models covering various detection types such as fluorescence, Alpha Screen, luminescence, absorbance, and image-based screening. The High Throughput Screening Facility aims to provide excellent screening services, promote drug discovery through efficient processes and high-quality data, and support both internal and external project collaborations.

Biological Library Core
Biological Library Core
The Biological Library Core of CIMR aims to establish and maintain the shared repositories of biological experimental materials, including microbes, genetically manipulated animal and human cell lines, and DNA materials (e.g., plasmids, mutant genes), as well as providing services in plasmid and cell line request, purchase, expansion, cryopreservation, and distribution. In addition, the Biological Library Center makes available the human genome cDNA library, and human CRISPR library, supporting the ongoing basic and translational research work of CIMR.
