My score at the college entrance examination was 675 points in Liaoning Province. The reasons for my choosing Jieping Program are as follows:

I have been interested in medicine and found the human body complex and interesting since I was a child. I hope to use my knowledge to solve scientific problems related to medicine and help more people.

 

My current research interests are DNA mismatch repair and tumor immunotherapy.

I have joined the lab of Professor Guomin Li at the Innovation Centre. The reasons for my choosing Professor Li lab are as follows:
Professor Li specializes in the direction of DNA mismatch repair, which is in line with my research interests.
Professor Li is able to think from the student's point of view, which meets my learning needs.
Professor Li has an excellent scientific mind and broadens my scientific horizons.
The laboratories are well-equipped and well-resourced, with good experimental conditions.

The scientific question I hope to address in the future is:
Starting from the mechanism of DNA mismatch repair, we will solve the problem of poor- or non-effect of immunotherapy in most patients with tumor, so that more cancer patients can benefit from immunotherapy.
