Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the daily management and maintenance of the imaging center and optical microscopes;

2. Conduct training and assessment of the instrument operation staffs; assist in imaging experiments and image processing;

3. Responsible for collecting, organizing, and providing feedback on instrument usage information.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Science, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Optoelectronics, Material Science or related fields, Master's degree is preferred;

2. Basic knowledge of optics and biology, familiarity with imaging principles of microscope and basics of image processing; experience with common microscopes (such as two-photon, confocal, etc.);

3. Proficient in image processing; familiarity with programming languages such as C, Matlab, Python, Lab VIEW, etc. is preferred;

4. Basic knowledge of mechanical drawing and processing, electronics, electrical engineering, and other related foundation; proficiency in relevant software and processing experience is preferred;

5. Excellent learning and hands-on abilities, meticulous and proactive at work;

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, have a sense of responsibility.

Candidates who meet the above requirements but have not yet obtained a degree certificate may intern at the platform, and those with outstanding performance will be given priority for employment.
