Ph.D. Candidate, Class of 2024

I graduated from Weifang Medical College with a bachelor's degree and obtained my master's degree from Jilin University, where my research focus was on the mechanism and efficacy analysis of PARP inhibitors in ovarian cancer.

I chose to continue my academic journey at the CIMR because it brings together top scholars from various fields, providing a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative research. As a professional master's student, the integration of scientific research and clinical practice is an important way to cultivate innovative thinking and practical skills in medicine. By participating in laboratory research projects, I am able to combine cutting-edge knowledge from basic scientific research with practical issues encountered in clinical practice, laying a solid foundation for becoming a doctor who can contribute to scientific research and provide high-quality medical services on the clinical front in the future.

I am particularly interested in tumor genomic instability, which is an potential area of cancer research. Understanding its role in the occurrence of tumors is crucial for developing new treatment strategies. By targeting specific genes or signaling pathways for treatment, it is potentially possible to inhibit tumor growth and spread. This is also a challenging field, and I hope to make my own contributions through continuous learning and exploration.
