Faculty Positions of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Medicine

The Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR, 首都医学科学创新中心) in Beijing, China, is a research institution dedicated to fundamental and translational medical research. CIMR is committed to building a world-class medical research hub and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. Located at the main campus of the Capital Medical University (CCMU), CIMR has a close relationship with CCMU and enjoys the rich clinical resources and collaboration opportunities at more than 20 CCMU-affiliated top-notch hospitals.

As part of our development plan, we are now looking for outstanding scientists (PI positions) at all ranks who focus on research in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Machine Learning in Health Care and Medical Sciences. Successful candidates will have opportunities to collaborate with physician scientists in the CCMU Affiliated Hospitals, and have access to a wide range of medical data.

Position Description and Qualifications

1. Assistant Investigator: Qualified candidates should 1) have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Biomedical Informatics, or other related fields; 2) successful postdoctoral training experience; and 3) have demonstrated the potential to establish a vibrant independent research program.

2. Associate Investigator: The applicant should have experience in establishing and running an independent lab and be recognized as a rising star in the field.

3. Investigator: Senior applicants with a well-established record of research accomplishment and world-class leadership in relevant fields are encouraged to apply.
