The Institute for Cancer Research of CIMR is recruiting an Assistant to the Director.
The Institute for Cancer Research (ICR) is the first institute established at CIMR. Our goal is to beat cancer. Our mission is to transform the lives of cancer patients through world-class research and education. We are working to identify new biomarkers for early detection of cancer, and produce a new generation of treatments and cures for cancer patients.
The Director of the Institute for Cancer Research is Professor Guo-Min Li, a Distinguished Investigator of CIMR.

Main Responsibilities:
(1) Assist the Director in drafting the development plan, annual plan, relevant regulations of the Institute, and ensure the effectiveness of the implementation.
(2) Assist the Director in carrying out administrative, scientific research, and educational work, etc.
(3) Carry out the comprehensive coordination, supervision of the implementation of internal and external affairs of the Institute. Ensure effective communication and work coordination with CIMR’s administration team and core facility team.
(4) Responsible for the implementation of the planning,organizing and reception of important conferences and activities of the Institute; Responsible for drafting work reports, plans and other related materials.
(5) Complete other tasks assigned by the Director.
Job Requirements:
(1) Master Degree or above, preferably in biomedicine or related field.
(2) Good spirit of dedication and teamwork, strong organization, coordination and communication abilities, good problem-solving skills, implementation-oriented.
(3) Management experience, with experience in research institutions or universities is preferred.
(4) Good written and oral skills in both Chinese and English.
(5) Proficiency in various daily office software.
(6) Good physical and mental health.
