I chose to pursue my Ph.D. at the CIMR because it offers top-tier research platforms and interdisciplinary opportunities. The expertise of the faculty here provides strong support for my academic growth and allows me to engage deeply in cutting-edge research. I am particularly interested in neuroscience and gene therapy, specifically in the mechanisms and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
In the future, I aim to address key challenges in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases by developing precise gene therapies that regulate neural circuits and gene expression to restore brain function.
Ten years from now, I hope to remain passionate, full of enthusiasm, and continue to love and enjoy life.
