Recently, Professor Chuan-Yuan Li from Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR), Beijing and Capital Medical University published an article titled "A noncanonical cytoplasmic role for BUB1 in restraining DNA damage–induced dsRNA accumulation and sensing within stress granules" in the journal Science Immunology.

The main research direction of the lab is to understand the driving mechanisms of oncogenic transformation and tumor resistance to therapy, such as immunotherapy, in order to develop better therapeutics to improve cancer prevention and treatment.
