Laboratory Introduction
The Badr Lab at the Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR) is a new research team focused on understanding how autoreactive T cells achieve immune tolerance — and translating these discoveries into new therapies for autoimmune diseases and cancer. Our work integrates molecular biology, cellular immunology, and in vivo mouse models to address fundamental questions in immunology with direct clinical relevance. We are creating a focused, collaborative lab dedicated to scientific discovery and improving human health.
Open Positions: Research Assistant
Main Responsibilities:
a. Perform experiments involving cell culture, primary cell isolation, and multiparameter flow cytometry.
b. Carry out standard molecular biology techniques including qPCR, Western blotting, and molecular cloning.
c. Conduct mouse in vivo procedures such as tissue harvest, injections, and blood collection.
d. Maintain accurate experimental records and contribute to data analysis.
Qualifications:
a. Master's degree in immunology, biology, molecular biology, or a related life sciences discipline.
b. Familiarity with basic cell culture, flow cytometry, molecular biology and mouse handling.
c. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
d. Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and daily communication.
