Introduction
Vector Core is one of the technical assistance platforms of the Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR), Beijing. The core is primarily responsible for providing researchers with conventional viral vectors, such as adeno-associated viruses, lentivirus, retrovirus and adenovirus, along with comprehensive support services ranging from viral vector design, virus packaging, virus in stock to usage consultation and experimental discussion. The core is also actively engaged in optimizing existing viral tools and developing novel viral vectors, such as rabies virus, herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV), empowering researchers to achieve breakthroughs.
